Always keep at least 1 full unopened box (or 10 to 15 loose tiles) in your garage or attic. Tile dye lots change constantly; if a pipe leaks or a tile cracks years from now, finding an exact color and texture match is nearly impossible.
Use sanded grout for joints wider than 1/8 inch (the sand particles prevent cracking and shrinkage in wide gaps). Use unsanded grout for joints 1/8 inch or narrower, or on easily scratched surfaces like polished marble and glass tile.
